Sooo...Most of you know that we are without hot water this week and it was suggested to me to find the benefits of cold showers. Thanks Darryl. I went to our information superhighway and lo and behold you can find anything on the internet, guess what I found?
Many cultures in many countries enjoy the benefits of cold showers or plunges. Some of the benefits that I found were as follows: Improves circulation, relieves depression, keeps your skin and hair healthy, strengthens your immune system, increases testosterone, and increases fertility. Now, with all that being said, further research did find that women that are menstrating should not take cold showers during that time. Also persons with heart problems are not suggested to take cold showers. I did find testimony from one person that had a quadruple bypass surgery and had been taking cold showers since his recovery and felt better than ever.
I hope all of you realize this is very tongue in cheek, but we need to find light in every situation that we can. Is your cup half full or half empty? Have a great day and make it the best it can be!!
